Maharishi Ayurveda - Asthomap 60 Tablets

A well-thought-out combination of herbs that counteract respiratory allergies alleviates and arrests bronchospasm, exerts prompt mucolytic action, tones up the respiratory mucosal lining, and dilates bronchioles. Maharishi Asthomap contains no steroids and hence is safe for long-term use.

Regular use of Maharishi Asthomap reduces hypersensitivity to allergens and the intensity and frequency of asthmatic attacks.

Indications:

• Bronchial Asthma
• Chronic bronchitis
• Bronchial and respiratory allergies
• Pulmonary eosinophilia
• Emphysema
• As an adjuvant in the treatment of a chronic cough.

Contra-indication:

Asthomap is not recommended in patients with congestive heart failure.

Adjuvant Therapy:

Asthomap may be combined with salbutamol and other anti-asthmatic drugs to manage acute asthmatic conditions after that acute phase is over. Asthomap should preferably be continued to minimize dependence on other medications.

Dosage:

1 to 2 tablets thrice a day.

• Shunthi (Zingiber officinale) 11.00 mg
• Pippali (Piper longum) 14.55 mg
• Vanshlochan (Bambusa arundinacea) 29.20 mg
• Ela (Elettaria cardamomum) 7.30 mg
• Twak (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) 3.65 mg
• Soma lata (Sarcostemma hrevistigma) 76.65 mg
• Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 76.65 mg
• Vasa (Adhatoda vasica) 76.65 mg
• Kushta (Saussurea lappa) 76.65 mg
• Mishri (Crystal sugar) 116.80 mg
